About Us
Almost half of people in the US struggle to understand health information. As doctors, we saw this every day. That’s why in 2024 we founded HealthEd 4 Everyone.
What We Do
We start from you. Our guides include topics patients need like what to do when you have a medication side effect to advocating for yourself in the emergency department. Even once a page is done, we want to hear what we could do better. Our goal is to give you the information you need to understand, manage, and advocate for your health.
This is why we don’t tell you to just “talk to your doctor.” We include why it might help and what to expect. You’ll find information on your condition plus how to prepare for appointments, what to ask, and what comes next. Everything we make is free, with no ads, and no tracking. Our content is reviewed by doctors to make sure it’s correct.
Why We Do This
We’ve been on both sides. We’ve been patients who struggled to get the care we needed. And as doctors, we know how confusing the medical system is, because we work in it. We’ve seen what happens when people don’t get the information they need.
When people can’t understand their health information, it’s hard to know what to do. It’s hard to know when something is serious. This leads to more doctor visits, more money spent, and worse health outcomes.
We believe everyone should have access to easy-to-understand, clear, reliable information about their health.
Who We Work With
We work with clinics, nonprofits, and doctors who share our goals. They use our resources with their patients and communities, and they help us improve our resources.
Corner Health Center is a community health clinic that provides healthcare to young people in Michigan. Chronically Informed creates videos to help people with chronic illness navigate the medical system. Doctors at academic medical centers and community health organizations also use our guides with their patients.
Our Team
Our team brings together people from healthcare, mental health, education, technology, and design.
