Maya-Rose (Rosie) Yancey

Maya-Rose (Rosie) Yancey is an artist based in Kansas City and is currently attending University of Missouri-Kansas City’s art program. She has several years of experience working in mediums including but not limited to illustration, animation, creative writing, and graphic design.
She is illustrating I Can Go to the Doctor. In Rosie’s words:
I am very excited to illustrate this project. It means a lot to me, because I myself am autistic and have a background in caring for people on the spectrum. I have had my fair share of feeling afraid of the doctor and other medical activities, so I hope to help ease that for children.
